About Dr. Greg Sipes
A 1977 Spring Arbor University graduate with a B.A. in psychology Greg Sipes, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist with 30 years of professional experience. Senior partner of Indiana Health Group, Inc., Indiana’s largest multidisciplinary behavioral health private practice, he is also a principle in two other companies and helped start Indiana’s largest professional mentoring agency for at risk kids. He has been involved with a number of other not-for-profits agencies serving at risk kids in Indianapolis. He is the title sponsor of the Second Helpings Tonic Gallery and Tonic Ball a fundraiser to feed hungry families in Indianapolis.
Greg received a M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wyoming. He completed his residency in clinical psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at the Indiana University School of Medicine. In 2007, he received an honorary Doctorate of Science degree from his alma mater.
He has served as a full time faculty member with IU School of Medicine and was twice honored by the psychology residents in the Department of Psychiatry for outstanding contribution in teaching and training. He also served as a hostage negotiation consultant, criminal profiling consultant and police psychologist with the Indianapolis Police Department and has consulted with a wide variety of businesses and organizations on many workplace issues.
He has authored or co-authored five books and numerous professional and business articles. He has a weekly WXIN/Fox59 segment, “Straight Talk with Dr. Sipes” and is a regular guest on several radio shows. Greg lives in Noblesville Indiana with his wife Markine. He has a son Christopher, daughter Julia, daughter-in-law Jaime and granddaughter Claire Markine. He attends the Hinkle Creek Friends Meeting (Quakers).
